NDIS Builders Melbourne
Custom NDIS Homes Designed for Independence.
For many families, the process of building or modifying a home to meet accessibility needs can feel overwhelming. Between navigating funding, coordinating with support providers, and finding a builder who genuinely understands accessibility, the process can quickly spiral out of control.
That’s where experience matters.
Since 2001, Allgrange has been delivering high-quality residential construction across Melbourne, with a growing focus on accessible homes and NDIS building solutions. Led by founder Greg Palazzolo, our team brings together practical building expertise with a deep understanding of how thoughtful design can improve everyday living.
When you work with us, you’re partnering with a builder who understands both construction compliance and the human side of accessibility.
NDIS Building Specialists You Can Trust
Many clients come to us after dealing with builders who either don’t fully understand the requirements or propose designs that meet compliance but don’t work in real life.
Our approach removes this stress.
We provide clear guidance, collaborate with your support network, and ensure every design decision is made with functionality and long-term usability in mind. We understand NDIS requirements, but beyond just meeting them, we understand how to design homes that meet and adapt to your changing needs over time.
Our NDIS Building Process
A clear and structured process is essential when building or modifying your home under the NDIS. We guide you through every stage to ensure nothing is overlooked.
Initial Consultation
For many families, the process of building or modifying a home to meet accessibility needs can feel overwhelming. Between navigating funding, coordinating with support providers, and finding a builder who genuinely understands accessibility, the process can quickly spiral out of control.
Construction
Once construction begins, your home progresses through key stages, each carefully managed and scheduled. We keep you informed of progress so you always know how your home is progressing.
Design & Planning
Your home is designed specifically for your needs, your site, and your future. This is a collaborative process where functionality leads design decisions, and we’ll work closely with occupational therapists, support coordinators, and family members to ensure every aspect of the design is practical and aligned with your NDIS plan.
Handover
Before completion, we conduct final checks to ensure everything meets the required standards. Your build is backed by a 10-year structural warranty, and we remain available for ongoing support.
Detailed Quote
Transparency is central to how we work. Our quotations are detailed and clearly explained, so you’ll never be left wondering what’s included or not. We’ll even include allowances for fixtures and fittings not yet selected to give you options based on your budget.
Our NDIS Building Process
Creating a truly functional home goes beyond simply meeting minimum standards. At Allgrange, we combine deep knowledge of accessibility requirements with local Melbourne building expertise to deliver spaces designed for real life.
Every project is delivered in line with key standards, including Australian Standards (AS 1428.1-2009), Livable Housing Australia guidelines, and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission expectations. What sets us apart is how we apply these standards within the context of Melbourne homes.
Whether we’re modifying a heritage property, adapting an existing home, or building a new accessible residence, we understand the unique challenges that come with different properties across Melbourne. Our local experience allows us to navigate approvals more efficiently, design for Melbourne’s climate, and deliver tailored solutions that suit both your unique needs and your site. The result is a space that genuinely supports your day-to-day living, performs well over time, and is built to last.
Clear Communication Throughout Your NDIS Building Journey
We understand that NDIS building projects involve more than just construction. They often include families, support coordinators, and occupational therapists, all needing clear and consistent communication.
That’s why communication is a core part of how we deliver every project.
It starts with transparent, easy-to-understand quotes that clearly outline what’s included, helping you align with your NDIS funding and avoid uncertainty. From there, we maintain regular communication throughout the build, providing updates at key stages and inviting you and your support team to walkthroughs and milestone check-ins.
You’ll have a dedicated point of contact who understands your project and can coordinate with all involved parties to make sure nothing is missed. If changes or adjustments are required, we discuss them openly, explain any impact on funding, timelines, or scope, and seek approval before moving forward.
Our goal is to create a smooth, supported experience where you feel confident and in control at every stage of the process.
